Well here comes Santa Claus, but not in the way you usually think. A parade float with Santa on his sleigh collapsed leaving Jolly Old Saint Nick hanging from his seat in front of guests during the Christmas Fantasy Parade at Disneyland on Saturday.
Mr. Claus was launched out of his seat when his sleigh broke as the parade made it’s way down Disneyland’s Main Street U.S.A. on Saturday.
While he waited for crew members to help him down guests could see him dangling by his safety harness as you can see in the post below:
Some visitors at the California theme park posted recordings of the incident, showing Santa remaining calm while he he was left dangling a handful of feet off the ground.
Once he was removed, he continued to walk the rest of the parade route, smiling at guests and spreading holiday cheer with his sleigh trailing behind.
The mishap delayed the parade, but no one was reportedly injured by the float collapse.
