Chadwick Boseman Honored with Updated ‘Black Panther’ Opening Credits on Disney+

Black Panther Intro

In honor of what would have been Chadwick Boseman’s 44th birthday, Disney Plus has updated the Marvel logo introduction to “Black Panther.”

Boseman who brought King T’Challa of Wakanda to life in four different Marvel Studios films tragically died after a four-year battle with cancer on August 28.

Walt Disney executive Bob Iger took to Twitter to announce that a special tribute to Boseman would be featured as part of “Black Panther” on Disney Plus as you can see below:

He wrote, “To all fans of #BlackPanther: watch the film on #DisneyPlus late tonight, for a special tribute to someone that was and will always be near and dear to our hearts.”

The updated intro keeps the classic Marvel page-turning opening before showing concept art and images from “Black Panther.”

The tribute shows footage from Boseman’s appearances in “Captain America: Civil War,” “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers: Endgame.”

For those who don’t subscribe to Disney+, however, Marvel has made the tribute available for all to watch through their Twitter account.
