    New Violet Lemonade Minnie Ears Avaiable at Epcot Flower & Garden Festival

    The 2019 Epcot Flower & Garden Festival is in full bloom and the Violet Lemonade Minnie Ears are super cute and your definitely going to want them on your must have list this year.

    I finally got my hands on a pair of these and they are totes adorbs. This cute set of ears have violet glittery ears and a band covered with violet flowers and lemon wedges!

    These ears go great with the “Put A Little Zest in Your Fest” merchandise, much of which features prominently the yummy frozen Violet Lemonade as you can see below:

    A lot of the merch also comes in matching violet and is adorned with the same violet flowers and lemon wedges.

    After you have the whole ensemble you want to cap it of with a Violet Lemonade Ale from Playalinda Brewing Company while you stroll the park.

    With spring break approaching, now, more than ever is the time for Florida residents to experience all that’s new and exciting at Walt Disney World Resort. And with sunshine and warmer weather also comes special theme park tickets and great rates on stays at select Disney resort hotels.

    Discover Disney Special Ticket Offer

    For a limited time, Florida residents can purchase a four-day Discover Disney Ticket for less than $49 per day plus tax (valid for admission to one theme park per day). Here are the ticket details for home-staters:

    • 3-day Discover Disney Ticket (one theme park per day) – $175 (plus tax), that’s less than $59 per day (plus tax)
    • 4-day Discover Disney Ticket (one theme park per day) – $195 (plus tax), that’s less than $49 per day (plus tax)

    Tickets can be purchased  now through June 27, 2019, and must be used by June 30, 2019. Valid proof of Florida residency is required. With these special tickets, residents can visit any three or four days through June 30, 2019, with no blockout dates.

Victoria & Albert’s is the only restaurant in the state of Florida to be awarded both the AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Awards – with only 26 other restaurants in the Unites States holding both awards. Every night, Victoria & Albert’s brings guests the ultimate in fine dining with classic Victorian elegance, haute American cuisine, and an atmosphere of refined opulence. 

    AAA rates and approves nearly 32,000 restaurants throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.     ‘Maleficent 2’ Gets a Title, a New Release Date and a New Poster

    Today, Disney announced the upcoming follow-up sequel to 2014’s “Maleficent” has a new title, a new poster and a new release date.

    “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil”, as it’s now titled, will hit theaters on Oct. 18, 2019. The fantasy adventure is moving its release date up by seven months. It had previously been slated to debut on May 29, 2020.

    The new date pits “Maleficent 2” against an untitled film from horror-maker Blumhouse. It will also have to contend with the second weekends of “The Adams Family,” the adaptation of Donna Tartt’s “The Goldfinch,” “Zombieland 2,” and “Gemini Man,” a futuristic thriller that unites Will Smith and Ang Lee.     Angelina Jolie reprises her role as the villainous enchantress Maleficent. The cast also includes Elle Fanning, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, and Lesley Manville, who appeared in the first installment, as well as franchise newcomers Michelle Pfeiffer, Ed Skrein, Harris Dickinson, and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Joachim Rønning (“Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales”) directs from a screenplay by Linda Woolverton, Micah Fitzerman-Blue, and Noah Harpster.

    The first “Maleficent” was a box office smash when it opened in 2014. It grossed $758.5 million globally on a $180 million budget.

Guests are encouraged to pick up Disney FASTPASS tickets early for favorite attractions such as Radiator Springs Racers.
    • Disney MaxPass – Guests will maximize their day with the ability to reserve digital Disney FASTPASS selections right from your mobile device using the Disneyland app while in the parks. Plus, it offers the opportunity to download, save and share Disney PhotoPass photos captured during an entire day. Both services are included when purchased per ticket, per day. Disney MaxPass can also be purchased through the app.
    • Disney PhotoPass Service – PhotoPass photographers at character, dining and special locations throughout the park ensure that everyone gets in the photo. Guests may link, view and purchase photos at Disneyland.com or directly from the Disneyland app.
    • Play Disney Parks Mobile App – The new Play Disney Parks mobile app allows families and guests to interact with the theme parks, creating unique experiences and activities that bring surrounding environments to life. With group play that enables everyone to join in on the fun, guests can turn wait time into play time at select attraction queues, earn, collect and share uniquely themed digital achievements, test their knowledge of Disney trivia and listen to the music and sounds of Disney parks through curated Apple Music playlists.
    • “A Walk in Walt’s Footsteps” Tour – Guests may follow in the footsteps of the man whose vision and creativity brought Disneyland park to life, Walt Disney. This 3 ½-hour guided tour covers the life of Walt Disney and stories behind the magic of Disneyland.
    • Portable Phone Charging Systems Kiosks – Guests recharge their batteries without missing any of the fun by using a convenient portable battery set that can be purchased from kiosk locations throughout the resort. When the portable battery runs out, guests may swap it for a fully charged replacementat any kiosk at no extra cost.
    • Parent “Rider Switch” – A theme-park “rider switch” policy gives both parents a chance to enjoy their favorite attractions without double the wait. A parent who waits with a young child while the other parent rides the attraction may board the ride with minimal wait time once the first parent exits. Guests may ask a cast member about this option.
    • Enjoy the Shows and Entertainment – Oftentimes, children enjoy live entertainment and stage shows for the first time at the Disneyland Resort. Families may choose from multiple shows in the daily Show Entertainment Guide (available at the main entrance gate and at Guest Relations centers). These include parades, character encounters and shows such as “Disney Junior Dance Party!” (Disney California Adventure) and “Mickey and the Magical Map” (Disneyland). Fans of Disney’s global film phenomenon, “Frozen”, will find the dazzling theatrical interpretation “Frozen – Live at the Hyperion Theater” at Disney California Adventure Park. Guests also may encounter performers and singers as they stroll through the parks, including the Dapper Dans at Disneyland, and Five and Dime at Disney California Adventure.
    • Be Amazed by Projection Shows and Spectacular Fireworks – State-of-the-art projection shows and fireworks illuminate the sky above Disneyland park on select nights, choreographed to timeless music and with surprise appearances by some classic Disney characters.     As the end of February approaches and March begins, you know it’s Mardi Gras time! While famously celebrated on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, Disney Springs is offering up its own spin on this favorite holiday complete with food and entertainment that will have you “jazzed” to celebrate!

    First things first, you have to dress the part, right? No celebration is complete without a pair of ears and these Mardi Gras-inspired Minnie Mouse ears make for the perfect party accessory! These beauties feature all the fun colors and patterns of Mardi Gras (and remind me of a certain Disney princess from New Orleans!) (If you can only pick just one, I always suggest the Bourbon Bread Pudding. It’s in my top 5 list of best desserts you can find at Disney Springs!) The best part? You can grab all of these dishes at the Smokehouse grab and go window now through March 5. In addition to delicious bites, there will be live music, drink specials and prizes March 1-5 in the House of Blues Courtyard. With no cover or reservations required, this is a celebration you won’t want to miss.

    Over in The Landing, Carnevale is back at Maria & Enzo’s Ristorante! Not familiar with Carnevale? The annual festival began in Venice, Italy and commemorates the joyous gathering of family and friends to eat, drink, dance and celebrate life together. Make a reservation by March 5 and you’ll get a front-row seat to live entertainment including singers, stilt walkers, jugglers, mimes, face painters, folk dancers and more all while indulging in signature Italian cuisine. During this limited-time engagement, you can enjoy the prix fixe “Feast of Carnevale” selections or order a la carte from the regular menu.

    Founded in 1959, the Jersey Shore-based Ron Jon Surf Shop is opening its newest store at Disney Springs.

    The new 10,000 square-foot store will be opening its doors in late 2019 near The Polite Pig and will be filled with all your favorite beach and vacation essentials.

    The shop carries everything you need for fun in the sun and with locations throughout Florida and the eastern seaboard, the Ron Jon brand is the place for beach essentials.

    President and COO of Ron Jon, Debbie Harvey, saw the open-air retail and dining district as an ideal location for their newest store. Disney Springs is popular with visitors and locals, alike. This was a key component for the Ron Jon president, and she knew there was great opportunity for a successful store.
