“Solo: A Star Wars Story” Will Premiere on the High Seas with Disney Cruise Line

As Star Wars fans around the world prepare themselves for the release of “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” Disney Cruise Line joining in on the action.

Disney Cruise Line, is known to feature movie premieres at sea on the same day that they premiere on land. This means that you can see”Solo: A Star Wars Story” on May 25 aboard all of their ships and stay caught up on all of the excitement!

For those who are looking to take their Jedi training to the next level, there will be an exciting event that will give you the chance to prove yourself against the dark side. Returning in 2019, Star Wars Day at Sea aboard Disney Cruise Line is an adventure-filled day where all of your favorite characters and stories from Star Wars take over your cruise.

From January through March 2019, select Disney Fantasy sailings from Port Canaveral will feature a full day transporting guests to a galaxy far, far away. From an epic deck celebration, “Summon the Force,” to themed activities and entertainment with all of your favorite Jedi, droids and Wookiees, Star Wars Day at Sea is a Star Wars fan’s dream come true!

Kids will especially love harnessing the power of the Force at Disney’s Oceaneer Club in Star Wars: Command Post on the Disney Fantasy and in Star Wars: Millennium Falcon on the Disney Dream.

WALL•E and EVE Ears At Pixar Fest Are The Cutest Thing

Pixar Fest is in full swing at Disneyland Resort celebrating the heartwarming stories and characters of Pixar films from now through September 3. The merchandise is just amazing and these WALL•E and EVE ears are so out of this world we feel they deserve a special mention!

The Pixar themed headwear is totes adorbs! The design is so cute and perfect for couples because when you place them side by side they make a secret heart and an image of WALL-E and EVE doing their iconic space tango from the film.

New After Fireworks Dessert Party Coming to Magic Kingdom Park

If you love fireworks and dessert then Magic Kingdom is the place to be. Due to the popularity of the Fireworks Dessert Party at Magic Kingdom Park, there will now be an additional option – the After Fireworks Dessert Party starting on May 28.

Now you can experience the legendary fireworks over Cinderella Castle from a special viewing area in the Plaza Garden, and afterwards, head on over to Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant and indulge in a delicious array of all-you-care-to-enjoy desserts!

On the menu for this sweet experience are treats inspired by each of the lands of Magic Kingdom Park. Among the offerings are the S’mores Action Station (Frontierland), Pineapple Delights (Adventureland), Ooey Gooey Toffee Cakes (Liberty Square), Macarons (Fantasyland), a Cookie Table (Tomorrowland), and Strawberry Tarts (Main Street U.S.A.).

But there’s more than just desserts! Savory snacks include cheese cubes, spinach dip with crackers, and house-made mini eggrolls. Fresh fruit is also available along with refreshing beverages such as sparkling apple juice, coffee, tea, and milk.

In addition, on July 3-4 and select nights during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, guests can enjoy special themed holiday treats as well as holiday fireworks.

‘Royal’ Experiences at the Disneyland Resort

As the world gets ready to celebrate the Royal Wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle on Saturday, May 19, it’s a good time to point out that the Disneyland Resort has plenty of “royal” experiences to enjoy a “happily ever after.”

Who doesn’t love a sparkly tiara? Find your inner princess at Crystal Arts on Main Street, U.S.A. This shop specializes in sparkling gifts and exquisite crystal mementos—including tiaras.

Disneyland park’s very own New Orleans Square has a whole street dedicated to all-things “royal.” Along Royal Street, order a sourdough bread bowl of clam chowder or gumbo at the Royal Street Veranda, pick out your perfect fragrance at Mlle. Antoinette’s Parfumerie or listen to the smooth sounds of the Royal Street Bachelors.

Be sure to visit the Royal Hall to meet Disney Princesses from some of your favorite fairytales. At the nearby Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, young guests can experience a royal transformation with its signature “Crown Package.”

Enjoy storytelling from “Beauty and the Beast” and “Tangled” at the Royal Theatre, located in the Fantasy Faire neighborhood in Disneyland park. These live stage performances offer a comical twist on these favorite tales!

The Royal Wedding is just a few days away – and Walt Disney World Resort guests can join in on the historic celebration by grabbing new merchandise now available at the United Kingdom Pavilion at Epcot.

Royal Wedding merchandise can currently be found in the shop between The Tea Caddy and the Queen’s Table. The curated assortment of Royal Wedding products from United Kingdom-based companies include home décor items, such as teacups and saucers, ornate mugs, and tea towels.

Other available items include a ceramic bell, trinket box, and a 24-Carat Gold Gilded commemorative plate. Each item contains a picture of His Royal Highness Prince Harry of Wales and Miss Meghan Markle.

New Character Dining Experiences at Disneyland Resort Now Accepting Reservations

Looking for that extra bit of Disney magic to add to your Disneyland Resort trip? Then you’ll be excited to find out that reservations are now available for Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Character Breakfast at Storytellers Cafe and Donald Duck’s Seaside Breakfast at Disney’s PCH Grill. These dining experiences both start on July 10 and are the perfect way to start your Disney day.

At Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, guests dining at Storytellers Cafe will join Mickey Mouse and his friends for Mickey’s Tales of Adventure. Discover the fun with your adventurous storyteller, Mickey, as he welcomes you into his immersive tales of adventure through his magical Adventurer’s Journal. Enjoy a bountiful Farmer’s Market Buffet of all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast specialties, including made-to-order omelets, Mickey waffles, fresh-baked goods and seasonal fruit. Mickey’s Tales of Adventure will be offered Monday-Thursday, 7-11:30 a.m. and Friday-Sunday, 7 a.m.-2 p.m.

First Look: New Concept Art of Disney H2O Glow Nights

Disney recently shared the news about the coolest nighttime water park event coming to Walt Disney World – Disney H2O Glow Nights at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and now we are getting a look at an artist rendering inspired by this new nighttime party that will allow guests to experience the water park in a whole new light.

With glowing beach balls, inner tubes and other lighting effects, Disney H2O Glow Nights is a rare opportunity for guests to experience Typhoon Lagoon under the moonlight. On select nights beginning June 21, Typhoon Lagoon becomes a luminous, nighttime hotspot featuring a DJ Dance Party on the beach, plus special character meetings with Buzz, Woody and Jessie from Pixar’s “Toy Story,” as they visit Typhoon Lagoon for the first time. And let’s not forget about our host, Partysaurus Rex, who is inviting guests to this one-of-a-kind experience.

Guests can also play party games, try unique food and beverage treats and enjoy all attractions at the water park with minimal wait times, including Crush ‘n’ Gusher, a thrilling water coaster and Miss Adventure Falls, the newest attraction at Typhoon Lagoon.

While the kids are splashing about, adults can visit The Wharf. This adults-only oasis is unique to Disney H2O Glow Nights and is only available when Typhoon Lagoon transforms at nightfall.
