World’s Biggest Mouse Party Brings New Experiences Disneyland Paris

Disney Parks around the world are gearing up to celebrate 90 years of Mickey magic at the World’s Biggest Mouse Party, kicking off later this year and continuing into 2019. Disneyland Paris recently announced a lineup of new experiences set to launch during their festive 90-day celebration, beginning in October.

On October 1, “Mickey and his PhilharMagique Orchestra” will make its big debut at Disneyland Paris. This 3D experience will take guests on a musical adventure through classic Disney animated films at Discoveryland Theatre in Disneyland Park.

This Halloween season, he will appear in a brand-new float in the Halloween cavalcade from October 1 through November 4. He will also reveal his mischievous side at “Mickey’s Illusion Manor,” performing Halloween tricks from the steps of his house. The celebration continues into the holiday season, November 10 through January 6, 2019, when Mickey Mouse plays drums in “Mickey’s Christmas Big Band” in Walt Disney Studios Park.

We’ll keep you updated as the World’s Biggest Mouse Party continues to take shape at Disney Parks, with special festivities coming to each resort around the world. Festival of Pirates and Princesses Begins at Disneyland Paris

Mischief and magic is afoot at Disneyland Paris! As part of the 25th Anniversary celebration, guests can now create their very own adventure story and participate in the Festival of Pirates and Princesses with an exciting new show called “Disney Pirate or Princess: Make Your Choice!”

The interactive show starts at opposite ends of the park – a blossoming, colorful Disney Princesses float journeys through Fantasyland while a huge galleon boarded by scallywags sails down Main Street, U.S.A., accompanied by an acrobatic crew of pirates.

Both worlds come together at Central Plaza in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle for the finale. Guests are then invited to choose a side and take part in one of two routines alongside their favorite Disney characters, all to the same playful melody for one grand ending. The entire show takes place several times a day, so guests can switch sides for a different experience later in their visit.

During the Festival of Pirates and Princesses, guests will see sequences from Pirates of the Caribbean during the new Disney Illuminations show and may even spot Jack Sparrow in Adventureland with his pirate crew. Pirates and princesses alike can take part in face painting or even create an entirely new look with transformations in Adventureland and Fantasyland, not to mention meeting their favorite pirate or princess (or both!).

The Top 7 Restaurants at Disneyland Paris

In addition to the extensive list of attractions, Disneyland Paris also has some amazing dining options. They have more than 25 dining outlets, including table service, counter service and buffet restaurants.

It’s so hard to narrow down the options, but if you want to have the true dining experience in Disneyland Paris, here are my picks for the Top 7 restaurants at the resort.

1. Disneyland Paris Hotel Inventions

Inventions restaurant is a buffet, located inside the Disneyland Hotel. Meet your favorite characters, in different outfit themes each week. If you want to eat here, remember to make a reservation, as this is a popular place to eat, and understandable, it’s so cute in its Victorian style and is all in all a great experience!

2. Bistrot Chéz Remy (Ratatouille)

Shrink down to rat size, right next to the Ratatouille ride and eat at Remy’s Bistrot. The decorations is worth the visit itself. Here you have table service, the food is typical French dining, so you can sit back and relax, while feeling as tiny as a rat in a lovely French atmosphere. Reservation is recommended here, as it’s very popular!

3. Plaza Gardens Restaurant

Located on Main Street U.S.A, where you can be lucky enough to get a view over the castle, and even see the fireworks from the large windows, or you can choose to start the day with breakfast at the morning buffet! Even if you’re not able to see the castle you will enjoy the view inside this Victorian old building! Hurry up and get the food on your plate from the big buffet, because your favorite characters are waiting to meet you at your table! Reservations can be made, the lines tend to get long in the evening.

4. Auberge de Cendrillion

Have your taste of French cuisine while surrounded by your favorite princesses and princes, at Cinderella’s majestic medieval banquet hall! You can sit back and enjoy the atmosphere, because here they have table service. Don’t worry about the mice, I promise Suzy and Perla is friendly! This is a very popular place to eat, so make your reservations to a romantic seating for all ages.

5. Buffalo Bill’s Wild West show with Mickey and Friends Dinner Show

Holster and gallop to the heart of the old west for the biggest Disney dinner show in Europe. You’ll enjoy a Texan meal, while watching a show on how the West was won in a spectacular battle shown in the arena! Reservations can be made!

6. Walt’s an American Restaurant

Serving sophisticated and contemporary American cuisine with European influence, this is a Victorian-style tribute to the life and work by Walt Disney. While sitting at your table you’ll fell like you’re inside Walt’s home, each room is reflected by one of the 6 magical worlds in Disneyland Park Paris. Reservations can be made. Table service, and very elegant place, with great service!

7. Cafè Mickey in Disney Village

Enjoy your favorite characters while having table service at the evening in an Italian style, or breakfast buffet in the morning. Reservations can be made, and is a good idea, it’s a very popular place. It’s a great way to start the morning if you’re walking from one of the Disney Hotels, you can stop by Cafè Mickey and enjoy a breakfast with characters, before entering the parks. Very kid friendly.

PANDORA Sparkles at Disneyland Paris With New Multi-Year Deal

PANDORA and Disneyland Paris announced recently that they have signed a multi-year strategic alliance that will introduce new official Disneyland Paris versions of the iconic PANDORA charms and a new retail location for Europe’s number one tourist destination.

The Disney PANDORA collection is a jewellery assortment available at Pandora stores worldwide that also offers a selection of exclusive Disney-themed charms available only in Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. As part of this alliance relationship, PANDORA’s core collection at Disneyland Paris is available at five merchandise locations with each location offering a different experience to highlight the range of charms and bracelets inspired by Disney Characters like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and the iconic Disney Princesses. The PANDORA collection will also soon be available for sale in its own unique retail location in Walt Disney Studios Park which opens in April.

This new alliance relationship names PANDORA as the official sponsor of Disney Illuminations, an unforgettable nightly show that brings together groundbreaking special effects and impressive fireworks to transform Sleeping Beauty Castle before taking guests on a journey through beloved Disney stories.

Disneyland Paris Is An Experience You Can’t Miss
If you always wanted to visit Disneyland Paris, now is a great time to do it!

If you’ve never been to Disneyland Paris—or maybe you even still call it EuroDisney—there’s plenty more at the French park than what you might realize. If you’re wondering if it is worth the trip? Let’s just say it’s the only place in the world you can eat dinner at a Mickey Mouse rodeo and experience “Ratatouille” in real life.

The two parks are so close together, you can easily visit both in one day, the tickets you can use all day, jumping from park to park, as you wish. I recommend at least three days though, two in Disneyland Park and one in Walt Disney Studios. The ideal vacation, if you want to see the shows, try most of the rides, and meet characters, is six days (In my opinion). If you are staying in a Disney hotel, you of course have the extra magic hours, which you should really use! You also want have time to see Disney Village, which is a lovely place to relax before and/or after going to the parks.

At Disneyland Paris transportation is a breeze and very accessible! There is a train that takes you from Paris, straight to the parks. If you are traveling by air then getting to the magic from Paris has never been easier with your choice of shuttle buses, rental cars, train services and private chauffeur. ‘Magical Shuttle’ Airport Bus takes you from the Paris airports straight to the heart of the magic. Magical Shuttle airport bus is only available as an option and is not included in a package.

The park, which is in the middle of celebrating its 25th anniversary keeps the celebration going strong. The celebration includes:

Disneyland Paris Fans Get a Preview of Pirates & Princesses Festival

Guests at the Palais Garnier opera house in Paris were recently treated to a first glimpse at the Pirates & Princesses Festival, which begins March 31 as part of the resort’s 25th Anniversary celebration.

The evening included a sneak peek of the bright costumes and fun choreography guests will see in the park in just a few weeks. Among those in attendance were Miss France 2018 Maëva Coucke and Argentine French actress Bérénice Bejo (“The Artist”), as well as dozens of beloved Disney characters – and a few rapscallions.

Soon guests at Disneyland Paris will have the chance to join in the interactive show “Disney Pirate or Princess: Make Your Choice!” which offers a different story depending on the team they choose. The two worlds will also come together daily as the Disney Princesses float and the Pirates float meet for a musical celebration in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

It’s all happening at Disneyland Paris very soon! In the meantime, be sure to experience the resort’s Season of the Force offerings which come to a close on March 25.

Marvel Land Is Officially Coming To Disneyland Resort

Marvel Land will be swinging into Disneyland Resort, the company announced Tuesday. A Marvel land is slated to open at Disneyland Resort in 2020 and New Marvel Lands will also be developed in Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong.

These new experiences at Disneyland Resort, Disneyland Paris and Hong Kong Disneyland will soon invite guests to become part of a bigger universe filled with epic heroes and adventures. Developed in partnership with Marvel Studios and Marvel Themed Entertainment, these three new areas will champion the next generation of Super Heroes.

At Disneyland Resort, the new Super Hero-themed land will begin recruiting guests in 2020, with even more new experiences to follow. The Guardians of the Galaxy will be joined by Spider-Man and the Avengers in what will become a completely immersive Super Hero universe, furthering the evolution of Disney California Adventure park. This new land will be anchored by the popular Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!, in the adjacent space that is currently occupied by “a bug’s land.” “It’s Tough to Be a Bug” closed March 19 to make way for this new heroic experience; the rest of the land will close in late summer.

As part of the transformative multi-year expansion announced for Disneyland Paris, the new Marvel-themed area at Walt Disney Studios Park will include a reimagined attraction where riders will team up with Iron Man and their favorite Avengers on a hyper-kinetic adventure in 2020. This will follow an epic experience launching this summer, when Disneyland Paris hosts Marvel Summer of Super Heroes from June 10 to September 30. Favorite heroes will take the stage for a brand new, live-action super-production featuring cutting-edge special effects and spectacular projections.

Multi-year expansion plans are also underway at Hong Kong Disneyland, including a new themed area that will include an exciting attraction where guests team up with Ant-Man and The Wasp. This new attraction will join the Iron Man Experience, which opened in 2017 and is already the most popular attraction at the resort.

Massive Multi-Year Expansion Announced for Disneyland Paris

This morning, Disney Chairman and CEO Robert A. Iger announced plans for a two billion euro, multi-year expansion for Disneyland Paris alongside French President Emmanuel Macron at the Palais de l’Elysée in Paris.

The new development will include a transformation of Walt Disney Studios Park, adding three new areas based on Marvel, Frozen and Star Wars, along with new attractions and live entertainment experiences. A new lake will be the focal point for entertainment experiences and connect each of the three new areas, completing one of the most ambitious projects at Disneyland Paris since its opening in 1992.

“We’re very excited about the future of Disneyland Paris and continue to invest in its long-term success,” said Iger. “The resort is already the leading tourist destination in Europe, and the transformative expansion we announced today will add even more of our beloved characters and unparalleled storytelling to create new lands, attractions and entertainment that further elevate the guest experience and drive new opportunities for tourism in this dynamic region.”

The multi-year development will roll out in phases beginning in 2021, significantly expanding Walt Disney Studios Park. Each new area will bring to life some of Disney’s most popular stories and characters, including the previously announced reimagining of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith as a high-speed, hyper-kinetic adventure with Iron Man.

This new development will build on the success of the resort’s 25th Anniversary celebration and enhance the guest experience for millions of visitors in the years to come.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster To Receive Marvel Make-Over at Walt Disney Studios Park

If you believed the Aerosmith Theme on Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster would last for ever, then “Dream on.” The popular high speed roller coaster will be totally reimagined as a high-speed, hyper-kinetic adventure, in which guests will team up with Iron Man and their favorite Avengers.

Now if you are wondering about the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster located at Hollywood Studios and if it will be re-themed too, there are no plans to ad a Marvel overlay to that attraction so don’t worry.

For now the focus is on Disneyland Paris where popular stories and characters from the Marvel universe are already being incorporated into park in the form of this summer’s Marvel Summer of Super Heroes celebration, plus plans for Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel. Marvel is definitely in that parks future so this change make a lot of since for them.

Very few other details about the re-theming were offered, but surly more will be coming our way so stay tuned for future updates.
