The ‘Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade’ Airs Christmas Morning on ABC
Christmas is only one day away and the tradition continues with The ‘Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade’ is airing on ABC Chistmas morning.

The “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade” is a favorite Christmas day tradition. This holiday favorite airs tomorrow, December 25 on ABC and on the ABC app. Air times are 10 a.m.–12 p.m. EST, 9-11 a.m. CST/MST/PST; airtimes vary, so be sure to check listings.

Presented from Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Resort in California, the show features the Christmas Day Parade down Main Street U.S.A., heartwarming stories and amazing celebrity performances. It’s all hosted by artist Matthew Morrison, singer-songwriter and TV host Emma Bunton, and TV host Jesse Palmer. Joining as co- hosts are ABC’s “black-ish” star Marsai Martin with Hollywood Records Artist and Disney’s “The Lion King” star JD McCrary, who voiced young Simba in the live-action film. Take a look at a preview of what to expect below:

Among the exclusive Disney Parks sneak peeks planned for this special are Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida on March 4, 2020, and Disneyland park in California in 2022, plus Avengers Campus coming to Disney California Adventure Park in California in 2020. Viewers will also get a special look at “the most magical flight on earth”: the newly opened Disney Skyliner gondola system, connecting Walt Disney World Resort guests to two Disney theme parks and four resorts, including the new Disney’s Riviera Resort.

Musical performances include the following:
- Seventeen-time GRAMMY Award-winning Sting performs “Soul Cake” off his platinum- selling album “If On A Winter’s Night…” from Walt Disney World Resort.
- Two-time GRAMMY Award-winning reggae star Shaggy sings his new Caribbean-flavored original song “Christmas with Friends” from Walt Disney World Resort
- Three-time GRAMMY Award-winning a cappella group Pentatonix performs “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” from Walt Disney World Resort.
- Singers Ingrid Michaelson and Grace VanderWaal sing “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” from Disneyland Resort.
- GRAMMY Award-winning rock band Portugal. The Man performs “White Christmas” and “Feel it Still” from Disneyland Resort.
- International pop star Ally Brooke performs “Christmas Through Your Eyes” from Walt Disney World Resort.
- The cast of the new Disney+ original “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” performs a high-energy medley from Disneyland Resort.

Disney Introduces New ‘Let it Glow’ Trees to Downtown Disney District
This holiday season, the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland Resort is brimming with bold and brightly colored trees, tasty treats, holiday entertainment and unique shopping options for the entire family. And to light up the shopping, dining and entertainment experience, Downtown Disney District will be all aglow for the season with an all-new visual experience, “Let it Glow,” bringing eclectic light and new colors to the holidays.
- Let it Glow: A must-do experience, this vibrant showcase features 200 UV glow trees along the promenade and a distinctive new seasonal look for both day and night. The solid-colored trees in florescent shades of blue, green, yellow, orange and pink vary in size, with the tallest measuring approximately 15 feet, and the smallest at four feet. Unlike traditional Christmas trees, there’s not a single ornament, as their brightness makes them brilliant. More than 70 glow rings adorn the ficus trees throughout Downtown Disney District, adding to the neon elements at night. More than 10,000 individual plants and 30 topiaries will live around the trees to further enhance the planters, complemented by 24 hanging baskets filled with poinsettias, cyclamen and dusty miller. “Let it Glow” begins Nov. 22, 2019 and will be on display through Jan 5, 2020.
- Sips, Eats and Sweets: Visitors may enjoy a bite at an open-air café, sip hand-crafted cocktails, indulge in gourmet desserts or savor an exquisite sit-down dinner in the Downtown Disney District. During the holiday season, a number of the district’s restaurants and stops offer seasonal menus and sweet treats such as Black Tap Craft Burgers & Shakes, Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen, Catal Restaurant, Uva Bar, Marceline’s Confectionery, Salt & Straw scoop shop, Wetzel’s Pretzels and Starbucks, to name a few.

New 2019 Epcot Festival of the Holidays Merchandise Featuring Chip ‘n’ Dale Available at Disney World
The 2019 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays runs from November 26th – December 30th this year, and it’s packed with holiday cheer. Let’s take a closer look at some of festive merchandise.
This red long sleeved shirt has a hood, and is covered with icons from around Epcot. It’s also a thin t-shirt material which makes it perfect for our mild Florida winters or for layering in colder climates. The blue t-shirt featuring Chip and Dale in their cute Christmas sweaters will be available exclusively for Passholders.

This year’s Magic Band would be the perfect stocking stuffer for any collector. Make sure you get yours quick, as it’s a Limitied Edition of 2500!
Chip and Dale, those rambunctious brothers, are all over this year’s merchandise. This adorable coffee cup has a lid to keep your coffee, tea, (or spiced wine!) warm. A Cast Member told us that there will be a cup like this themed for the Magic Kingdom, so be sure to visit both parks to get a matching set.
Here’s a closer look at the Limited Editions pins. In the first pin Goofy and Donald are dressed for Winter and taking a trip around World Showcase. The second pin is Passholder Exclusive and features Mickey and Minnie exchanging ornaments.

2020 New Year Minnie Ears Now Available at Disney World

It’s almost time to ring in the new year and that means, new year… New ears… And the new 2020 Minnie Ears have arrived at Walt Disney World just in time to celebrate.

The ears feature a satin and velvet-lined royal blue headband with a sequined bow, plus confetti-coated ears with tons of tiny glitter particles shining bright!

“2020” is embroidered on the side in green, white, red, and yellow as you can see in the picture below:

‘Baby Yoda’ Merch is on the Way for the Holidays

The force is strong with this holiday merch! “The Mandalorian” break out star, dubbed “Baby Yoda” by the internet, will soon have merchandise available and just in time for the holidays!

The character, named simply “The Child” in the new Disney+ series, made a surprise appearance toward the end of the first episode. “Star Wars” fans went wild for the adorable creature, calling it “Baby Yoda” due to its uncanny resemblance to the iconic character Yoda.

Clothing and accessories for “Baby Yoda” will soon be available on Amazon, Zazzle, Target, Kohl’s, Macy’s, Hot Topic and Box Lunch, as well as the Disney Store, ShopDisney and at the Disney Parks, CNBC reported. There are already two T-shirts available on Amazon as you can see in the picture below:

One retails for $22.99 and the other costs $25.99. CLICK HERE to see what’s already avaiable on Amazon.

“The Child” was absent from the marketing and initial merchandise launch for “The Mandalorian” because show runners Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni didn’t want to spoil the creature’s unexpected appearance, the report said.

Preview of Epcot’s Festival of the Holiday’s
We got a special Sneak Peek of the 2019 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays, and I can tell you it’s going to be PACKED with Holiday Cheer!

Celebrating joyous holiday traditions from around the globe, this year’s festival is presented by AdventHealth and runs Nov. 29 through Dec. 30, 2019. It features a variety of yuletide decorations, flavors from around the World, and family-friendly activities.

There will be several characters ready to celebrate with you in their holiday best. Belle is my favorite Princess, and this year’s Festival you’ll find her strolling through France in her gorgeous red velvet and yellow brocade winter gown. Mickey and Festive are looking festive this year, and Chip and Dale will be arriving in adorable red and gold vests and jaunty hats to create some mischief.

Holiday Kitchens are returning this year, where you can sample holiday dishes from around the World.
- Pork Schnitzel
The Yukon Holiday Kitchen will feature a Canadian Wild Rice and Ham Soup, served with a Pretzel Roll. The Bavarian Holiday Kitchen will have a Prok Schnitzel with mushroom sauce and Spatzle. I tasted this one and I found the sauce to be very delicious and earthy, with every bite full of mushrooms. The pasta was also cooked to the perfect al dente consistency.

If it’s an adult beverage you’re looking for, there’s a Hot Spiced Wine called Gluhwein from the Bavaria Holiday Kitchen that’s sure to warm you up. Holiday Sweets & Treat will feature a Chocolate Peppermint Shake made with Twinings Peppermint Cheer Tea and whipped cream vodka. The Refreshment Port will be serving up Eggnog with spiced rum. They were all so delicious and put me in the Christmas mood, but my favorite was the Peppermint Shake. It had crushed peppermint of top of the whipped cream that added just the right amount of minty-ness. (The Peppermint Shake and Eggnog also come in non-alcoholic versions)

Living with the Land is getting “spruced” up this year with a brand new Holiday overlay. Each night of the Festival, starting at sundown, the ride will be transformed into Living with the Land: Merry & Bright Nights. The greenhouses are filled with twinkling lights and cute holiday displays showing how you can use nature to decorate inside, or bring a little holiday magic outside. Make sure you check the Times Guide for operating hours.

In Mexico the Mariachi band will be wearing a holiday version of their tradional outfits and sprinkling some holiday tunes into their performance. Check the Times Guide for show times.

The Cookie Stroll is back and even better this year! If you want to “snack your way around the world,” this is the challenge for you. Buy one of each of 5 different cookies in World Showcase and you’ll be rewarded with a Mickey shaped sugar cookie!

And finally, all the fun merchandise to commemorate your trip to the 2019 Epcot International Festival of the Holidays! This year Chip & Dale, those rambunctious brother, are the mascots for the festival. You will find them on Spirit Jerseys, coffee cups, ornaments, and an exclusive Passholder t-shirt. There are also several open and limited edition pins featuring Mickey and friends to add your lanyard.
