    If you love strolling along the cobblestone streets of the United Kingdom Pavilion at Epcot then you’ll love the new United Kingdom-inspired minnie ears just released by Disney.

    Adorned with blue and white rose buds and a golden crown finish, these ears are fit for any royal. This Minnie headband is perfect for any photo opportunity throughout the pavilion or for simply enjoying fish and chips with friends at Yorkshire County Fish Shop.

    Within the pavilion shops, exciting new treasures can be found in addition to these unique United Kingdom-inspired ears as you can see below:

    New Fantasia 80th Anniversary Dooney & Bourke MagicBand Now at Disney Parks

    You can now conduct a symphony of melodic times at Walt Disney World Resort in this limited release MagicBand design by Dooney & Bourke, dedicated to the 80th Anniversary of Walt Disney’s Fantasia.

    Celebrating the 80th Anniversary of Walt Disney’s animated masterwork Fantasia the MagicBand cost $58 and features Sorcerer Mickey Mouse, Chernabog, Enchanted Broom, Hyacinth Hippo, Russian Thistles, and more.

    The Limited Release MagicBand is available at Disney World and shopDisney and comes in illustrated presentation box with magnetic closure and includes the gold Dooney & Bourke slider as you can see below:

    MagicBands are a secure device which allows you to effortlessly engage, through the My Disney Experience mobile app, the plans and vacation choices you’ve made for the Walt Disney World Resort. With a simple touch, you can redeem Disney FastPass+ selections, enter any one of the theme parks, unlock your Disney Resort Hotel room door, connect Disney PhotoPass images to your account, charge food and merchandise purchases to your room, and more!

    MagicBands are colorful, waterproof wristbands – resembling a watch or bracelet – that you can quickly and easily touch to a sensor called a ”touch point.” You will receive a MagicBand 2 if you stay at a Disney Resort Hotel in Florida or you are a Walt Disney World Resort Passholder. If you are not staying at a Disney Resort Hotel and are not a Passholder, you will receive a RFID-enabled card when you purchase park admission – and you have the option to purchase a MagicBand at Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, Disney Springs or shopDisney.com. You can link your admission ticket via My Disney Experience and then use your MagicBand to enter the parks.

    BREAKING: Disney World Raises Prices on Annual Passes

    Walt Disney World has raised the cost of most of its annual passes, according to the park’s website.

    Prices for annual passes increased overnight, just a few months after the last time they were increased in June ahead of the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge back in August.

    Take a look below at the new prices:

    • Platinum Plus: $1295 (previously $1219)
    • Platinum: $1195 (previously $1119)
    • Gold (Florida residents and DVC members only): $719 (previously $699)

    Florida residents only:

    • Silver: $539 (previously $519)
    • Weekday Select Pass: $369 (previously $349)
    • EPCOT After 4 pass: $319 (previously $304)

    There’s some good news for Florida residents though, the Platinum and Platinum Plus passes remained the same at $899 and $999. The Theme Park Select Pass also remained the same at $439.

    It’s always hard to say “see ya real soon” on your departure day. But now, many guests will have a magical message from Mickey Mouse to look forward to after they return home!

    Following a 3-night or longer stay at a Disney Resort hotel in 2020, keep your eyes on your mailbox for a newly created letter thanking you for your visit.

    On it, you’ll find a QR code that unlocks a hidden screen in the Play Disney Parks mobile app, which offers all sorts of interactive fun and games for family and friends before, during, and in this case, after your visit. The QR code will bring to life an engaging animation in the app featuring your pal, Mickey Mouse, who will appear right before your eyes through a special augmented reality (AR) effect.     Afterward, you’ll also earn an exclusive “Thanks for the Magic” digital achievement in the app.

    Available in the Apple App Store and Google Play, the Play Disney Parks app continues to be enhanced with new ways to enjoy and celebrate the parks – from activating physical show effects and playing in-queue games to becoming a Disney trivia master, earning ride achievements and finding official Disney Parks playlists through Apple Music.

    New Artist’s Palette Minnie Ears spotted at Disney World

    If you’re an artist, you are going to love the new Artist’s Palette Minnie Ears we just spotted at Disney World!

    They feature a painter’s palette with little Mickey heads in the colors of the rainbow, and two crisscrossed paint brushes.

    The ears look like a watercolor painting in progress with some classic Disney characters like the White Rabbit, Dumbo, Pinocchio, Mr. Toad, Peter Pan, and Sorcerer Mickey as you can see below:

    These ears retail for $29.99 plus tax. They would be perfect to wear to Epcot for the International Festival of the Arts, or to The Animation Experience at Conservation Station in Animal Kingdom.

    Disney Animatronic’s Hand Falls Off Mid-Show at Magic Kingdom

    An animatronic character of Disney World’s Carousel of Progress attraction reportedly had its hand fall off in the middle of the show according to a recent Reddit post.

    “John’s hand fell off during our show,” anonymous user ColtsMcgree wrote alongside a photo of the animatronic — named “John” — missing his right hand during the 1900s portion of the rotating theater attraction.

    In the photo listed as “not suitable for work”, the animatronic figure’s hand can be seen off to the right of him, on the floor as you can see in the post below:

    No other technical issues were reported by the visitor, but this isn’t the first time something has gone awry at the Carousel of Progress in recent months. Back in December, a guest had to be dragged off after they climbed onto the stage and damaged one of the props before lying down on stage.

    BREAKING: Disney Adds FastPass Service for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway

    Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will open March 4, 2020, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and now Disney has added FastPass+ service for the new attraction for visits beginning March 4.

    FastPass+ reservations for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway just became available in the My Disney Experience app for guests visiting on or after opening day (March 4).   When the attraction opens, you’ll be able to enjoy the amazing world of Mickey using either FastPass+ (as available) or a standby line.

    As many of you know, at Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway,  you’ll enter the NEW Mickey Mouse cartoon short “Perfect Picnic” for a one-of-a-kind adventure where anything can happen.  Why? Because here, mouse rules apply!

    And when making FastPass+ plans for up to three experiences at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can select between either Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run or Slinky Dog Dash.  Then, you can add additional experiences to plans, including Toy Story Mania, Alien Swirling Saucers, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Fantasmic! and more.

    Oogie Boogie Light-Up Tumbler Coming to Magic Kingdom with New Merch Lineup

    Disney Villains After Hours returns to Magic Kingdom Park this Friday, February 7 and we have a sneak peek of the new and exclusive merchandise available at the event including a new Oogie Boogie light-up tumbler!

    Like last year, Hades takes center stage in the design of many of the items like the signature event pocket t-shirt. Joining Hades are other villains like Maleficent, Scar, Ursula, Evil Queen and Dr. Facilier adorning a new blue pocket t-shirt, a ladies tank, and a ladies long sleeve shirt.

    Another fan-favorite villain is sharing the spotlight this year for a few new items. Oogie Boogie is the star of a new light-up tumbler and the headliner for another T-shirt that also includes other villains we love to hate. 

    You’ll be able to find event merchandise at Emporium, Star Traders and Fantasy Faire. For additional villains merchandise check out Fantasy Faire. You can also find specialty food and beverage offerings available for purchase across the park.

    Disney Villains After Hours occurs on 24 select nights starting February 7.

    You can purchase tickets for Disney Villains After Hours in advance for $145 plus tax or $155 plus tax on the event night. That’s at $10 savings if you buy early! Plus, Annual Passholder and Disney Vacation Club Members can take advantage of a $30 discount. Event tickets allow entry as early as 7 p.m., which gives you time to enjoy fireworks before heading off to the attractions. Select complimentary snacks and beverages are also included in the cost of admission.
