New Minnie Mouse Inspired Dooney & Bourke Collection

Rocking her iconic polka dots, Minnie Mouse inspires Disney fans around the globe with her timeless fun-loving, positive spirit. And now she has inspired Dooney & Bourke once again with this Polka Dot Infused Minnie Mouse Collection.

Minnie Mouse is getting all the attention this week. Fans will “Rock the Dots” with her this weekend, in celebration of National Polka Dot Day on January 22 and she is also being presented a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. in honor of her 90th anniversary. Minnie is everyone’s favorite fashionista so it’s no wonder retailers are eager to get in on the action.

The collection has “squeaky” clean design that really stands out with its simple yet elegant Red and White polka dot pattern inspired by everyone’s favorite glamour girl, Minnie Mouse!

The bags are made from vinyl with a nice leather trim and is perfect for rocking your dots year round. Look for three silhouettes in this collection including a Wallet, a Pouchette, and a Tote$228.

The Tote retails for $228 and has plenty of room for everything you need to carry.

The Pouchette is medium-sized with a leather strap and will run you $138.

The Wallet also sells for $138 and is perfect for when you are on the go and don’t want to be weighed down with a heavier bag.

There is no word on when these polka dot beauties will be available in stores and the shopDisney app, but we’ll keep you updated as soon as they are available.

NEW: Mary Poppins Dooney & Bourke Bags Are Practically Perfect

A practically perfect new Mary Poppins Dooney & Bourke bag popped in to shops around Disney Parks Friday. And first of all, “I would like to make one thing quite clear…” I need this bag.

The design features Mary with her iconic hat, scarf and umbrella on a light blue background. There are cute little flowers and bows on the print as well as proper penguins and the classic carousel horses.

Dooney & Bourke has combined their elegant line of bags with Mary Poppins in the most delightful way. First off the Tote which retails for $268. It has two straps and plenty of room. As with all Dooney’s make sure you check the print placement to make sure you get a good cut.

The Satchel is a medium-sized bag and it fully zips up. This designs features Mary prominently on the front with London in the distance. It still has the other pattern on the sides and it retails for $298.

Finally we have the Crossbody Wallet. It’s a small a small bag with a strap that is perfect for when you are traveling light in the parks. Retail on this one is $178.

The subtle yet classy designs are sure to be a hit and all the excitement has left many Dooney Collectors with their jaws wide open. Well, “Close your mouth please… We are not a codfish.”

If you’re contemplating getting one “Why complicate things that are really quite simple?” You know you want one so go ahead and treat yourself. Yes, we know you said you wouldn’t spend anymore until after Christmas, but “That’s a piecrust promise. Easily made, easily broken.”

This is the perfect last-minute gift for every Mary Poppins lover. Your husband may think it is just another bag, however “Though we adore men individually, we agree that as a group they’re rather stupid.” These bags will be in high demand so get yours while you still can. Just remember “Anything can happen if you let it.”

No word yet on if or when these will be on the Shop Disney Parks App or at Shopdisney.com, but they did just arrive at the parks so keeping checking back and we’ll let you know when they show up.

Loungefly Unveils Exclusive Disney Princess Debossed Bags

Loungefly has made some stunning Disney themed bags in the past, but we are really loving these faux leather numbers that they developed exclusively for ThinkGeek. The boldly colored bags feature debossed images of Jasmine, Snow White, and Mulan along with metal embellishments and a fun charm to complete the theme. The look isn’t over-the-top – quite elegant really.

The Jasmine satchel bag is available to order here – and it’s our favorite of the bunch. It includes a gold-colored magic lamp in metal, along with a magic carpet charm.
