With bold and vibrant Cempasúchil flores, an icon of these festivities, colorful designs that also include a bow in papel picado, a typical Mexican art and paper craft that is cut into intricate and beautiful designs, these ears are quickly becoming a fan favorite item.

Day of the Dead combines the ancient Aztec custom of celebrating ancestors with All Souls’ Day, a holiday that Spanish invaders brought to Mexico starting in the early 1500s.

The holiday which is celebrated on November 1 and 2, is like a family reunion—except dead ancestors are the guests of honor. Day of the Dead is a joyful time that helps people remember the deceased and celebrate their memory.

No matter when and how you celebrate Día de los Muertos, these highly anticipated ears are now available at Walt Disney World retail locations, including the México pavilion at Epcot, where guests can get additional Día de los Muertos inspired merchandise.
