New Sweet Summer Merchandise Ablaze with Color at Disney World

It’s time to light up your Summer with the new Sweet Summer collection ablaze with color at Disney World! We spotted all this new merchandise at Magic Kingdom’s Emporium.

I personally love this new Magic Band. It’s bright, tropical, and Mickey looks like he’s on vacation! My favorite land in Magic Kingdom is Adventureland and this version of Cinderella Castle reminds me so much of The Enchanted Tiki Room; where all the birds sing words and the flowers croon.

Look at all the glorious neon colors! These colors could not be any more perfect for a sizzling Summer at Disney World. The baseball cap features a green plastic visor and retails for $27.99. The yellow fanny-pack is $29.99

Disney is really bringing back the 80’s this Summer with this sun visor with a hot pink, plastic brim. It retails for $19.99. I think it would look totally tubular with with this women’s short-sleeve crewneck tee. It features Mickey and Minnie having lots of Summer fun, eating dole whips, popsicles, and floating on pink flamingos.

Let’s not leave the guys out this Summer. This button shirt features, what else but Disney snacks?! What’s Summer without a Dole Whip float and refreshing drinks served in coconuts with Mickey straws? I was tempted to buy this one and talk my boyfriend into wearing it.

If you’re not wearing Flip Flops are you even IN Florida?! Every Floridian owns at least 5 pairs of these. They feature the same fun pattern as the Mickey Pool Float Ears, and have a Mickey head make out of lemons on the straps. Perfect for a day by your resort pool. The shorts are a thicker fabric, almost like sweatpants. A pair of these definetly came home with me. They even have POCKETS!!

And here we have a sun-sational rain jacket for those afternoon showers. It has a fun assortment of theme park items on it, including Mickey waffles, Dole Whip float, a tea cup from the Mad Tea Party, a Mickey lollipop, and Cinderella Castle. Pro Tip: If you can wait out the rain, ride lines are usually much shorter when it stops!

If you’re planning a Disney trip make sure you contact Enchanted Kingdom Vacations with Kimberly. When you book with her she can share lots more Pro Tips to make your Disney trip unforgettable.

  • Newest Sweet Summer Spirit Jersey is Neon Tie-Dye Perfection

Newest Sweet Summer Spirit Jersey is Neon Tie-Dye Perfection

Disney knows how to make everything a little sweeter, even tie dye and lemons. The newest addition to your Spirit Jersey collection should certainly be this Sweet Summer Neon Tie Dye masterpiece!

It might be sweltering hot in Florida right now, but this new Spirit Jersey could brighten up any day.

The bright colors of the tie dyed strips at the bottom of the Spirit Jersey are repeated in the Walt Disney World letters on the back. The dot above the ‘I’ is a Mickey head formed out of three lemon slices. Take a closer look below:

The front has the classic ‘D’ with the lemon Mickey head inside. Just looking at this Spirit Jersey makes me crave an ice cold lemonade! I can’t wait to add this Spirit Jersey to my collection.

If your planning a trip to Disney don’t forget to contact me at Enchanted Kingdom Vacations with Kimberly. My services are FREE when you book with me and I can make your next Disney vacation a breeze.

  • Virtual Queue System Returns to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance for Disney World Reopening

Virtual Queue System Returns to Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance for Disney World Reopening

Disney’s Hollywood Studios reopens on July 15 and in order to help maintain appropriate physical distancing, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will once again be using the virtual queue system.

If you’ve joined the Resistance before, you will want to note a few changes to the process beginning July 15. Most importantly – as availability allows – guests will have an opportunity at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. or 4 p.m. to request to join the virtual queue. This means there is no need to arrive early to the park to check the virtual queue.

Whether it’s your first trip to Batuu or you have joined the fight against the First Order before, there are a few important details to know before you arrive:

    • First, make sure you have the My Disney Experience app. Once you enter the park, log in to your account at one of the distribution times (10 a.m., 1 p.m. or 4 p.m.).
    • Once you have logged in, select “Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Virtual Queue” on the home screen. You will be able to view the current status and next steps for joining the virtual queue.
    • The app will indicate when there is no availability for a specific distribution time. Some guests may join backup groups.
    • As long as your My Disney Experience account is linked to park tickets for you and the others in your group, you can enroll everyone in the virtual queue at the same time. In order to give as many guests as possible the opportunity to join the Resistance, each guest can enter the virtual queue no more than once per day.
    • Make sure push notifications are turned on for My Disney Experience so you will be alerted if your group is called to return. You’ll have up to an hour from the time of the alert to go to the entrance of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
    • Please note that joining the virtual queue does not guarantee the ability to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
  • Float through Summer with these New Inflatable Mickey Ears

Float through Summer with these New Inflatable Mickey Ears

Spotted at Magic Kingdom’s Passholder Preview, these adorable new inflatable Mickey ears will have you floating through Summer with style. Lime green and covered with all kinds of fruit, like watermelon, cherries, lemon slices, and kiwi, these ears are actually inflatable!

As you can see, these ears go perfectly with the bright colors featured on the Sweet Summer merchandise this year. This colorful and fruity collection is available in the Emporium at Disney’s Magic Kingdom.

The headband is a terrycloth material on the inside, like a beach towel, and a royal blue leather-like material on the outside.

  • Disney World Resumes Theme Park Ticket Sales and Disney Resort Hotel Bookings

Disney World Resumes Theme Park Ticket Sales and Disney Resort Hotel Bookings

Beginning today, Disney World has resumed ticket sales and Disney Resort hotel bookings for 2020.

Guests are now able to purchase new tickets and plan future visits throughout this year with the Disney Park Pass system, which they are using to help manage attendance during this reopening period.

Disney World had temporarily paused 2020 ticket sales and Disney Resort hotel bookings so they could focus on helping existing ticket holders and Annual Passholders plan their visits with the new Disney Park Pass theme park reservation system.

Disney’s Florida theme parks have been closed since March 15 because of the coronavirus pandemic, but Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom open for business July 11; Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios reopen July 15.

For those looking to make their plans right away, please note that tickets and Disney Resort hotel bookings may be released at different times throughout the day tomorrow. In addition, we will use virtual waiting rooms as needed to manage the high volume of guests looking to plan their visits.

All guests with valid admission are required to make a reservation in advance for each park entry, so be sure to check the park reservation availability calendar before purchasing any new tickets and then go directly to DisneyWorld.com/DisneyParkPass after your purchase to make your park reservations. Reservations are limited and subject to availability. Please note that, during this phased reopening, some tickets, ticket options and Disney Resort hotels are unavailable, but there are still a variety of options to choose from.

Though the experience may be different than the last time you visited, there is so much to look forward to, with many favorite attractions and dozens of entertainment offerings, including special new character cavalcades and the Taste of EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
