    ‘Lady and the Tramp’ Stars Celebrate New Live-Action Film at Disneyland

    The canine stars of the upcoming live-action film, “Lady and the Tramp,” recently had a doggie playdate at Disneyland park to celebrate the film’s upcoming release.

    Everyone knows that Disneyland is the place for special occasions. Rose, who plays “Lady,” and Monte, who plays “Tramp,” visited the Happiest Place on Earth for a paw-fect date!

    Rose and Monte enjoyed all of the Disney magic—from meeting Pluto in Mickey’s Toontown to checking out King Arthur’s Carrousel in Fantasyland. This time of year is especially festive with the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort returning yesterday! The duo even posed for a photo opp in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle.

    The new film, a re-imagining of the 1955 original animated film “Lady and The Tramp,” tells the story of star-crossed pooches who overcome obstacles on their journey to love.

    The film, which blends live-action with CGI, premieres Nov. 12 on Disney+.

    Mark your calendars, Disney fans! This holiday season Disney Parks around the world bring the magic of the most wonderful time of the year to your living room with three magical Disney Holiday specials on ABC and Disney Channel.

    This holiday season, ABC and Disney Channel will transport the magic of Disney Parks and Disney Cruise Line during the holidays to viewers with three magical specials featuring star-studded performances, merry entertainment and more. During the specials, viewers will get exclusive looks at upcoming Disney Parks attractions, including Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, opening soon at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at both Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort in California.

    ABC officially kicks off the holidays with “The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration,” THURSDAY, NOV. 28 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EST), on ABC; followed by “Disney Channel Holiday Party @ Walt Disney World,” premiering FRIDAY, DEC. 13 (8:00-8:30 p.m. EST), on Disney Channel and in the DisneyNOW app. As part of the annual tradition, the “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade” airs Christmas morning, WEDNESDAY, DEC. 25 (10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. EST, 9:00-11:00 a.m. CST/MST/PST; airtimes vary, check listings, on ABC and on the ABC app).

    “The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration”kicks off the holiday season Thursday, Nov. 28, from 8:00-10:00 p.m. EST, on ABC and on the ABC app. Join hosts artist Matthew Morrison, singer-songwriter and TV host Emma Bunton, and TV host Jesse Palmer as they present the two-hour prime-time special on Thanksgiving night from Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Resort in California. This magical celebration will feature celebrity musical performances among a flurry of Disney holiday entertainment. During the prime-time special, viewers will be treated to several Disney Parks sneak peeks, including a behind-the-scenes look into Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, opening in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge on Dec. 5, 2019, at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida and Jan. 17, 2020, at Disneyland Park in California.

    Musical performances include the following:

    • GRAMMY Award-winning icons Sting and Shaggy perform duets and solo numbers from Walt Disney World Resort, including a new festive reggae version of “Silent Night (Christmas is Coming).”
    • GRAMMY Award-winning rock band The Man performs “Happy Christmas” and “Merry Christmas Everybody” from Disneyland Resort.
    • Three-time GRAMMY Award-winning group Pentatonix will sing a cappella renditions of “Deck the Halls” and “Here Comes Santa Claus” from Walt Disney World Resort.
    • Singers Ingrid Michaelson and Andy Grammer perform an all-new original holiday song from Disneyland Resort.
    • International pop star Ally Brooke sings “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” from Walt Disney World Resort.
    • Singer-songwriter and TV host Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) performs “Santa Baby” from Walt Disney World Resort.
    • The Tony, Emmyand two-time Golden Globe-nominated artist Matthew Morrison performs a medley from Walt Disney World Resort of “When You Wish Upon A Star” from the upcoming album “Disney Dreamin’with Matthew Morrison” and the classic “Let it Snow.”
    • Acclaimed two-time Billboard Award-winning electronic violinist Lindsey Stirling pulls all the strings for “Carol of the Bells” from Walt Disney World Resort.

    “Disney Channel Holiday Party @ Walt Disney World“ airs Friday, Dec. 13, from 8:00-8:30 p.m.  EST/PST, on Disney Channel and in the DisneyNOW app. Disney Channel’s “ZOMBIES 2” stars MegDonnellyand Milo Manheimwill co-host this holiday party with artist Matthew Morrison, treating fans to a magical holiday celebration featuring performances from Shaggy,  Pentatonix and Disney Channel stars Issac Ryan Brown (“Raven’s Home“), Ruby Rose Turner (“Coop & Cami Ask the World”) and Kylie Cantrall (“Gabby Duran & The Unsittables”) broadcast from Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and aboard the majestic Disney Fantasy – part of the Disney Cruise Line fleet. During the special, viewers will enjoy exclusive Disney Parks sneak peeks, including a first look at Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida in spring 2020 and Disneyland Park in California in the future. Viewers will also get an exclusive look at the Disney Channel Original Movie sequel “ZOMBIES 2,” premiering on Disney Channel in 2020. Joining as co-hosts are ABC’s “black-ish” star Marsai Martin with Hollywood Records Artist and Disney’s “The Lion King” star JD McCrary, who voiced young Simba in the live-action film. Presented from Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Resort in California, the show features the Christmas Day Parade down Main Street U.S.A., heartwarming stories and amazing celebrity performances.     • GRAMMY Award-winning rock band The Man performs “White Christmas” and “Feel it Still” from Disneyland Resort.
    • International pop star Ally Brooke performs “Christmas Through Your Eyes” from Walt Disney World Resort.
    • The cast of the new Disney+ original “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” performs a high-energy medley from Disneyland Resort.

    The holiday specials are a collaboration by Disney Parks, ABC, Disney Channel and Endeavor Content.

    Pixar’s ‘Soul’ Debuts First Trailer and Gets Existential

    Walt Disney dropped the first teaser for Pixar’s big summer 2020 flick “Soul” today on Good Morning America asking some serious existential questions.

    What do you want to be remembered for? That’s the central question in “Soul,” Disney and Pixar’s upcoming existential animated adventure about a middle school music teacher (voiced by Jamie Foxx) who dreams of being a jazz performer.

    “Soul” concerns Joe, a middle-school band teacher, whose true passion is playing jazz, and who gets his dream gig moments before he dies. Take a look at the trailer below:

    The trailer opens with Joe asking, “What would you want to be known for on Earth?” A montage follows that shows people in their everyday lives, including commuting in a busy city and working jobs like a doctor, barber and hedge fund manager. “We only have a short time on this planet. You wanna become the person that you were born to be? Don’t waste your time on all the junk of life,” Joe continues in a voiceover.

    On his journey to get back to his own body, Joe meets Tina Fey‘s 22, a soul who can’t stand humans but helps Joe on his mission across the cosmos. Other characters are voiced by Blindspotting‘s Daveed Diggs, The Cosby Show‘s Phylicia Rashad, and The Roots drummer Questlove.

    Co-directed by Pete Doctor and Kemp Powers, and produced by Dana Murray, “Soul” will be in theaters on June 19.

    Marvel Studios Begins Filming ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier’

    “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” a new series coming exclusively to Disney+ has finally begun filming!

    Earlier this year at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios announced the exciting news that Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan would be reprising their roles as Sam Wilson, aka the Falcon, and Bucky Barnes, aka the Winter Soldier in and on Tuesday, the two stars took over Marvel Studios’ Instagram to announce that production is officially under way!

    It’s no new news that these two have incredible and hilarious chemistry both on and off the screen, and this short teaser takeover was the perfect reminder of that. The Instagram takeover kicked off with Mackie doing a solo takeover explaining he has big news to share, but was quickly interrupted by Stan jumping in on his takeover to make the news public. Ultimately, we got to the big announcement — that production has started on their much-anticipated new series.

    The series is expected to release in late 2020! Other upcoming Marvel Studios projects include Black Widow on May 1, 2020, The Eternals on November 6, 2020, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings on February 12, 2021, WandaVision in spring 2021, Loki in spring 2021, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on May 7, 2021, What If? In summer 2021, Hawkeye in fall 2021, and Thor: Love and Thunder on November 5, 2021, 2021, and Black Panther 2 on May 6, 2022. Marvel Studios Disney+ series without release dates include Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, and She-Hulk.

    Original Sanderson Sisters Confirmed For ‘Hocus Pocus’ Sequel on Disney+

    Disney+ recently revealed a follow-up to the 1993 Disney classic is in the works and it appears the original Sanderson Sisters will be making a return and everyone’s three favorite witches are returning to put another spell on audiences in the “Hocus Pocus” sequel.

    Sarah Jessica Parker has revealed on Instagram that she and fellow cast members Bette Midler and Kathy Najimy will return for the Disney+ sequel and the news has many fans running amok, amok, amok with anticipation!

    Parker teased the trio’s return to Salem, Massachusetts as you can see in the Instagram post below:

    The original 1993 film about a trio of 17th-century witches wreaking havoc in modern-day Salem, Massachusetts, stars Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy. The film was directed by Kenny Ortega and based on a screenplay by Mick Garris and Neil Cuthbert.

    “Workaholics” writer Jen D’Angelo is reportedly writing the sequel and has been tasked with finding a way to bring back the original cast of Bette Midler as Winifred, Sarah Jessica Parker as Sarah, and Kathy Najimy as Mary.

    Georgia is 24 and lives just outside of Manchester, UK. She created her channel around six years ago and her content is split between covers of the latest popular songs, vlogs and, by far and away her most popular and viewed content, Disney medleys.

    Each of Georgia’s Disney medleys takes around two months of solid work to produce. Her medleys are a result of massive amounts of hard work, from planning and producing the music that it will feature to cutting the transitions between songs.  She has to record the vocals, plan the costumes and make-up and then of course the shooting and editing of the video, all to come up with the final production that you’ll see on YouTube.
