    First Look: Mickey Mouse Leading ‘Magic Happens’ Parade, Debuting Feb. 28 at Disneyland Park

    In just a few weeks, the all-new “Magic Happens” parade will delight guests at Disneyland park, revealing its stunning floats, beloved Disney characters, artistic costumes and energetic musical score and Disney has released a first look of Mickey Mouse leading the parade!

    In the parade’s whimsical opening sequence, Mickey Mouse sports an all-new sorcerer-inspired costume and leads the way, gliding along on glistening swirls of magic that emerge from a giant, 15-foot tall iridescent magical hat.

    This incredible daytime spectacular celebrates the awe-inspiring moments of magic that are at the heart of so many Disney stories. To learn more about this show-stopping introduction, watch the video below!

    To help Mickey open this stunning parade are Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto and Chip ‘n Dale, along with a group of eclectic and contemporary dancers.  These performers, known as “magic makers,” represent stylized aspects of “Disney magic” – from beauty to strength and everything in between. Magic is there any time a pumpkin becomes a carriage, or a sword is plucked from a stone.

    Singer Pink‘s and husband Carey Hart recently visited Disneyland and their kids went all out on their ensembles. Pink’s 8-year-old daughter Willow even rocked a punk rock inspired princess get up!

    During her outing, the proud mom of two shared a super cute photo of Willow and 3-year-old Jameson. In the snap, Pink’s little bundles of joy can be seen posing in their Disney-themed ensembles.

    Jameson dressed up as Woody from Toy Story and Willow looked stunning in a Cinderella costume and she added a bit of edge to it with a thick black choker necklace as you can see in the post below:

    “Proud Mama. 🥰,” Pink, 40, captioned the sweet sibling image, joking of Willow, “Why does she look like she works there though? She legit looks like she’s being paid for this photo #ilovedisney.”

    Another snapshot posted to the singer’s Instagram account gave a close-up of her daughter’s final lookafter she received the Punk Rock Princess Makeover at the park’s children’s salon Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique — complete with the side of her head shaved as you can see in the post below:

    Through the Play Disney Parks app you can use your Star Wars: Datapad to interact with droids, scan cargo crates, or choose to support the Resistance or First Order when taking on jobs in Galaxy’s Edge, but did you know your datapad can also help you experience your own Star Wars story by collecting rankings and digital achievements.

    You can commemorate your achievements with three new trading pins that will be available for purchase! Featuring Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and lovable astromech BB-8, these pins are perfect for decorating your backpack, lanyards and more while showing off your achievements from your Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge adventure!

    Beginning January 17, these new pins can be purchased at select locations at both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort, while supplies last. To earn the digital achievements in the Play Disney Parks app, guests simply need to be logged in, and opted into Bluetooth and Location Services. Then, enter Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to earn the “Black Spire Explorer” achievement, ride Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run to earn the “Flight of the Falcon” achievement and ride Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance to earn the “Hero of the Resistance” achievement. Once the qualifying achievement has been earned and unlocked in the Play Disney Parks app, guests simply need to show the digital achievement screen to a cast member to purchase the applicable commemorative pin.     R2-D2 Now Gliding Around Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland

    If you are planning on visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland you’ll encounter plenty of characters from around the galaxy—and now you may even run into R2-D2 gliding around Batuu.

    A resourceful astromech droid, R2-D2 has shown great bravery in rescuing his masters and their friends from many perils. A skilled starship mechanic and fighter pilot’s assistant, he formed an unlikely but enduring friendship with the fussy protocol droid C-3PO.

    If you want to bring a droid companion home with you, head to Droid Depot and build your own! Choose from either an R-series or BB-series as droid parts come and go on conveyor belts. Then, place your finished droid in an activation station to bring them to life.

    Droids can be further customized with personality-affiliation chips, color panels and other accessories. Watch as your droid interacts with other astromech droids, as well as with certain elements throughout Black Spire Outpost. Droid Depot offers advance reservations up to 60 days in advance and are available via the Disneyland Resort website or the Disneyland app.

    Afterwards, take time to explore the epic land where you can sample galactic food and beverages, enter an intriguing collection of merchant shops and take the controls of the most famous ship in the galaxy aboard another attraction in the land, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. The newest attraction, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, launches at Disneyland park on Jan. 17 after opening Dec. 5, 2019 in Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort. You’ll climb aboard a full-size transport shuttle before being captured by a Star Destroyer and find yourself in the middle of a climactic battle between the dark side of the First Order and the light side of the Resistance. The harrowing adventure blurs the lines between fantasy and reality on a scale never seen before in a Disney attraction.

    Disneyland Resort Discounted Ticket Offer for Southern California Residents Returns Today

    Disneyland is ringing in 2020 with a new deal on multi-day tickets. The resort is offering residents in Southern California and Northern Baja California the chance to purchase discounted multi-day tickets. This year’s deal is a three-day, one park per day ticket for $199.

    That works out to $67 per day, and is about $100 less than the normal cost for adults.  It’s also well below the cost of single-day, one park per day tickets, which currently range from $104 to $149.

    Special Ticket Offer for Southern California Residents

    For a limited time, Southern California residents can visit the Disneyland Resort theme parks for $67 per day with the purchase of a three-day, one-park per day ticket. Park Hopper options also are available. The tickets are available for purchase through May 18, 2020. Eligible guests may purchase up to five tickets per person, per day, and prices are the same for adults and children. This special ticket also includes one Magic Morning,** which gives admission to select attractions on select days at Disneyland park one hour before the park opens to the general public. Southern California residents may redeem their tickets on any three separate days through May 21, 2020.

    Special Ticket Offer for Kids Everywhere

    For families visiting from outside of Southern California, there’s a special value for kids. For a limited time, guests can save on Disneyland Resort park tickets for children ages 3 to 9 for $67 per day with the purchase of a three-day, one-park per day ticket. Park Hopper options also are available. The tickets are available for purchase through May 18, 2020. Guests may purchase up to eight tickets per person, per day. This special ticket also includes one Magic Morning, which gives admission into select attractions on select days at Disneyland park one hour before the park opens to the general public. This three-day ticket expires 13 days after first use or on May 21, 2020, whichever occurs first.

    With your park admission, enjoy these thrilling and distinctly Disney experiences, which are must-do’s in 2020:

    • Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance: The newest attraction inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge debuts at Disneyland park on Jan. 17. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance takes you aboard a full-size transport shuttle before you are captured by a Star Destroyer and find yourself in the middle of a climactic battle between the dark side of the First Order and the light side of the Resistance. Celebrating awe-inspiring moments of magic that are at the heart of so many Disney stories, this new daytime parade will feature stunning floats, beautiful costumes, and beloved Disney characters from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Frozen 2,” “Moana” and “Sleeping Beauty,” plus Disney and Pixar’s “Coco” and more, all led by Mickey Mouse and his pals.
    • Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival: From Feb. 28 through April 21, the popular Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival returns offering festivities for guests of all ages to enjoy. Guests will be able to explore California-inspired cuisine and beverages, tastings and entertainment, plus a wide range of specialty bites along the Festival Marketplace kiosks.

    BREAKING: Disney Announces New Marvel Land Set to Open in 2020 at Disneyland

    Disney has plans to bring more Marvel Lands to Disney Parks across the globe and Disneyland’s version, knows as Avengers Campus, has now been officially announced to be coming in summer 2020!

    You will be able to team up with some of your favorite Avengers at Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure park when it opens and as we’ve previously shared, this campus is set up by the Avengers to recruit the next generation of Super Heroes.

    Avengers Campus is home to the Worldwide Engineering Brigade – also known as “WEB” – which will house our new Spider-Man experience, the first Disney ride-through attraction to feature this iconic Super Hero.

    During an open house at WEB, the aspiring inventors are excited to invite you for a test drive of their latest invention: the “Web Slinger” vehicle, which allows you to sling webs just like Spider-Man! The attraction gives you a taste of what it’s like to have actual super powers as you help Spider-Man collect Spider-Bots that have run amok.

    Avengers Campus will also feature Pym Test Kitchen. Just as Ant-Man and The Wasp use “Pym Particles” to grow and shrink just about anything, Pym Technologies is using the latest innovations to grow and shrink food at this eatery.

    You will also find heroic encounters throughout the campus, including Black Widow, Ant-Man and The Wasp, Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Super Heroes from Wakanda and Asgard, and Iron Man.

    As Super Heroes continue to assemble at the campus, one of its iconic buildings will be the Avengers Headquarters where you should be on the lookout for Avengers in action.

    Christmas is only one day away and the tradition continues with The ‘Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade’ is airing on ABC Chistmas morning.

    The “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade” is a favorite Christmas day tradition. This holiday favorite airs tomorrow, December 25 on ABC and on the ABC app. Air times are 10 a.m.–12 p.m. EST, 9-11 a.m. CST/MST/PST; airtimes vary, so be sure to check listings.

    Presented from Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Resort in California, the show features the Christmas Day Parade down Main Street U.S.A., heartwarming stories and amazing celebrity performances. It’s all hosted by artist Matthew Morrison, singer-songwriter and TV host Emma Bunton, and TV host Jesse Palmer. Joining as co- hosts are ABC’s “black-ish” star Marsai Martin with Hollywood Records Artist and Disney’s “The Lion King” star JD McCrary, who voiced young Simba in the live-action film.     Among the exclusive Disney Parks sneak peeks planned for this special are Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida on March 4, 2020, and Disneyland park in California in 2022, plus Avengers Campus coming to Disney California Adventure Park in California in 2020.
