Girl Looking For Lost Teddy Bear After Family Trip To Walt Disney World

A New York family driving home from a trip to Disney World is now desperately trying to find their 3-year-old little girl’s teddy bear.  They think the bear was possibly lost in South Carolina and they are offering a $500 reward for its safe return.

The girl’s mother, Amy Earley, posted on Facebook that the teddy bear went missing while the family was heading home from Orlando last week.

“We lost a stuffed bear traveling home from vacation 4/13,” she wrote in her post. “Stayed at Comfort Suites in Rock Hill and then started north on I77. We think he may have made his way out the window between the hotel and exit 30ish (when we realized he was no longer with us.)”

Earley said her daughter and the stuffed animal have never been apart since the day she was born. “My three-year-old daughter has never been a day without this bear and is completely heartbroken and breaking mine!” she wrote.

The internet has reacted with heartbreak as well and people have even been out scouring the area looking for it. “Drove I77 today to 485,” one comment said, “I’ll keep looking!”

Early thinks that the bear made his way out of the truck when her husband let the windows down to help with the kids’ car sickness. They have called and checked with the hotel they stayed at and had no luck.

Two Missing Children Found in Disney World After Mother Flees DCF Order

Two Palm Beach County children who had been reported missing Thursday, have been found safe in Disney World, according to the Palm County Sheriff’s Office.

“The children have been located in Disney World and currently in the custody of Orange County Sheriff’s Office,” the PBSO said in a statement.

Before they were found, Benjamin Fisler, 2, and Kyle Fisler, 3, were last seen with their mother, Kiashara Leonard, 35, on Thursday. The Department of Children and Families advised deputies that there was an active order to take Benjamin and Kyle into their protective custody.

It is believed that Kiashara was aware of this order and absconded the area with the children. The children will now be placed into the custody of DCF after their brief visit to the mouse.

Human Remains Found in Yard of Disney Worker Missing For Three Years

Human remains were discovered by authorities in the backyard of a Disney Worker who has been missing for three years. Michael Shaver worked as a monorail mechanic at Walt Disney World according to relatives and has not been heard from since 2015.

Detectives with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office are now investigating the disappearance of a 36-year-old Michael Shaver from Clermont after his best friend requested a well-being check on him. His friend called the Sheriff’s Office to report that neither he, nor any of Shaver’s family, have heard from him since 2015 and requested deputies to go by Shaver’s residence and attempt to confirm his well-being.

Officials went to Shaver’s home in unincorporated Lake County south of Clermont on Feb. 16.  Laurie Shaver, his 35-year-old wife, was home and she told investigators that she had not heard from her husband since 2015.

She allowed investigators to search the home and then when Lake County sheriff’s deputies noticed what seemed like new concrete in an area of the backyard, they asked to bring in a cadaver dog. She refused to cooperate any longer and asked for an attorney.

After obtaining a warrant, deputies returned Friday to search the home.  They dug up an upper arm bone. The remains were found under a the concrete area in question which was located on an outdoor fire pit at the residence of Michael Shaver. More remains were found over the weekend as well as articles of clothing according to a spokesman with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials said, the remains have been turned over to the Medical Examiner’s office for identification and to determine the manner and cause of death.

Detectives have been diligently investigating the case and have not yet learned any information that would lead to the whereabouts of Mr. Shaver. They are seeking the public’s help and are asking anyone with information concerning Michael Shaver to call the sheriff’s office or Central Florida CRIMELINE at 1-800-423-TIPS, where they could be eligible for a cash reward.
