Adidas Releasing New Toy Story Shoe Collection October 1

It’s been 25 years since since Pixar’s Toy Story was released and Adidas and Pixar have teamed up to create a new Toy Story inspired youth collection to help celebrate.

Slated to release Oct. 1, Adidas and Pixar have joined forces to create a “Toy Story” Friendship collection featuring sneakers and apparel.

“Now more than ever, this collaboration represents the importance of bringing people together on the court, in the classroom, on the playground and in the world,” the brand wrote in a statement. It’s a reminder that we all have friends to lean on, just like Andy had Woody, Buzz and the whole “Toy Story” gang. Take a closer look below:

While there are many adults who would probably love to get their hands on this release, the collection has been specifically curated with sizes for juniors, children and infants with prices beginning at $22.

In total, there are seven sneakers included that celebrate all the famous characters fans of the film have grown to know and love.

The Dame 7 x Buxx sneaker has white, purple and green on the upper portion of the shoe and Buzz Lightyear details and glow-in-the-dark elements featured throughout.

Another standout, the D.O.N. Issue #2 x Wood has blue denim and print details that are a nod to Sheriff Woody’s classic character. Andy’s name is also on the right outsole.

In 2019, Adidas and Pixar teamed up to create a “Toy Story 4”-themed capsule collection that released on the same day as the movie. This line included footwear and clothing as well.

You may be able to make a splash in Disney World this coming spring break as the resort plans to reopen at least on of it’s water parks in March.

“While Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park remain closed at this time, pending government approvals, we currently plan to reopen one of the two Disney water parks on March 7, 2021,” reads a message posted to the Disney World website in an update on the “Know Before You Go” page.

Disney Park acknowledged, however, that this proposed reopening date may be subject to change amid an uncertain future.

Below you can see an image of the first piece of canopy being installed in what will become an instant iconic attraction and portal to The Grid in Tomorrowland.

Each section is strategically assembled before installation, including alignment of the steel, welding, grinding, some painting and electrical work. It’s an intricate process and something we’ll get to see rise before our eyes over the coming weeks and months.

This canopy will be a massive, awe-inspiring structure flowing organically over you when you race beneath it aboard your Lightcycle, serving as a digital bridge for your transition into The Grid.

As the Lightcycles whiz by, dynamic stripes of lights will follow along the canopy, creating a powerful visual for riders and bystanders alike.

  • BREAKING: First ‘The Mandalorian’ Trailer for Season 2 Released by Disney

BREAKING: First ‘The Mandalorian’ Trailer for Season 2 Released by Disney

Disney has debuted the first trailer for The Mandalorian’s second season after recently announcing the show will return on October 30th.

The two-minute trailer takes viewers to a galaxy far, far away as the bounty hunter known as the Mandalorian and his little green friend nicknamed Baby Yoda, fight their way through the wretched hive of scum and villainy in the Star Wars universe.

“Wherever I go, he goes,” the Mandalorian, who is played by Pedro Pascal, can be heard saying in the trailer as you can see below:

Disney made sure the trailer showcased everything that fans and Disney+ subscribers loved about the show’s first season. There were blaster gun battles, rusty spaceships, remnants of the evil Empire, and, of course, Baby Yoda being, well, cute.

The series, which launched Disney’s streaming efforts last November, was an instant success. The show was well-reviewed, dominated social chatter online, and even overshadowed the much-maligned “Star Wars” film, “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,” which opened last December.

‘Doogie Howser, MD’ Getting Female-Led Reboot on Disney+

A female-led reboot of the popular ‘90s series Doogie Howser M.D. has been picked up by Disney Plus.

Disney+ has green-lit Doogie Kameāloha, M.D., the working title for a reboot of the popular ABC series Doogie Howser, which aired for four seasons between 1989 and 1993 and starred a fresh-faced Neil Patrick Harris as the titular teen doctor.

The 10-episode half-hour comedy follows Kameāloha as she juggles a budding medical career and life as a teenager. Guiding Lahela (and also complicating things) is her family, including her spit-fire Irish mother who’s also her supervisor at the hospital, and her Hawaiian “Local Boy” father struggling to accept that his daughter is no longer his little girl.

“Thirty years ago, a young medical prodigy took the world by storm and left a lasting impact on pop culture,” Ricky Strauss (president of content and marketing at Disney+) said in a statement. “Kourtney and the team at 20th Television have created a very modern take on this beloved property which will resonate with our global Disney+ audience. We can’t wait to introduce the world to the new Doogie!”
