    This is the trailer you’re looking for! The first trailer for the upcoming ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi’ Series has finally been released and it looks amazing!

    The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader. The series stars Ewan McGregor, reprising his role as the iconic Jedi Master, and also marks the return of Hayden Christensen in the role of Darth Vader.

    In the first trailer for Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ewan McGregor’s Jedi master watches over young Luke Skywalker, while combating the empire however he can. Take a closer look at the first trailer below:

    BREAKING: Ewan McGregor Returning as Obi-Wan Kenobi in Disney+ ‘Star Wars’ Series

    After years of speculation, Ewan McGregor officially announced that he will be reprising his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi in an upcoming Disney+ series during an appearance at the end of Friday’s panel at the D23 Expo.

    McGregor — who played the Jedi Knight in three “Star Wars” movies — appeared onstage with Lucasfilm chief Kathleen Kennedy to confirm that he will be reprising the role, saying the scripts were written and that production will take place next year.

    The studio took to Twitter right after the announcement to share the news as you can see in the post below:

    “After secrets and fibs and not being able to talk about it, I am thrilled to bring out a beloved member of the star wars family…” Kennedy said as Ewan McGregor walked onstage.

    Disney+ launches on Nov. 12, 2019.
